Experience historic groups from Denmark, Norway and Sweden. "Days of Tordenskiold" offers a series of exciting events, including fencing demonstrations; a spectacular play written especially for the occasion; a one-hundred metre long banquet; grand three-masted ships from Denmark, Norway and Sweden, some of which are carrying guns along with wooden vessels; authentic music from 1717 and authentic 1717 food served in the local pub "Den kække Kælling". The event takes place by the harbour and the authentic Powder Magazine helps communicate this vibrant story. The aim of the events is not a glorification of the Great NorthernWar (1709-1720), but rather to bring to life one of its many crucial incidents.
